What a difference a few days and bowling in a different house makes........... After a disappointing day at Roseland, we were now headed for Sky Lanes and Sectionals. You could sense that the boys didn't want to think about the other day and were focused on the task at hand........... advance out of Sectionals.......... 12 teams, only top 3 advance to Districts.
The key to a tournament is getting off to a good start and that is just what we did, rolling a day high game of 1106 and a 115 pin lead over 2nd place. We never lost that lead with our next two games of 976 and 1036 for a total of 3118.
Bakers can be a little scary...... having to bowl six games on six different lanes, you're never sure what the shot will be like. We rolled games of 156, 161, 200, 207, 198, 171 = 1093 and finished with a grand total 4211 and a first place finish over second by 75 pins.

High series for the day went to our boy Tyler Meredith with games of 243, 223, 265 = 731
3rd high series went to Anthony Daymon with games of 219, 192, 245 = 656
5th high series went to Brent Botzer with games of 246, 212, 188 = 646
Adding to our total was Sean Thomas with games of 204, 172, 167 = 543 and Mike Edwards 194, 177, 171 = 542

There isn't a whole lot to talk about........ the boys were very disappointed in how they did so we won't dwell on it.
