Boys Track Team Takes First Place At Orange Relays
Stow vs Orange Relays at Orange H.S. (W, 110)The Boys Track and Field team took home the first place trophy Friday evening at the Orange Relays at Orange High School.
The team had first place finishes from the Pole Vault Relay (Tyler Jones and Zach Manthey), High Jump Relay (Tyler Jones and Jeremy Wentz), 4 X 1600 Relay (Greg Oneacre, Nick Hall, Paul Lovell and Justin Thomas), Distance Medley Relay (Greg Oneacre, Vince Horning, Nick Hall and Justin Thomas), 4 X 800 Relay (Vince Horning, Vince Petrecca, Matt Walker and Joe Wisnieswki), and the Shuttle Hurdle Relay (Tyler Jones, Doug Herbert, Jeremy Wentz and Ruben Rodriguez).
In addition to winning the Shuttle Hurdle event, the team of Jones, Herbert, Wentz and Rodriguez also set a new school record 0f 1:01.8.
