Stow girls bowled good, but not as good as Twinsburg, they came on strong with a 1071 their first game to Stow's 937. Stow bowled a 955 the second game to Twinsburg 893 and came within 72 pins. Two of Twinsburg girls bowled 100 pins over their average and made it hard for Stow to catch up. Stow needed to bowl their best baker games to pull off a win over Twinsburg. Stow girls not only bowled better this time at Sky Lanes, but also finished in 2nd place to advance to districts on Feb 26 at Twin Star Lanes! They bowled a 913 the first game, followed by a strong 963. The third game they struggled with a 822, but held onto first place with a 3 game total of 2698. Senior Laura Trevorrow lead the tournament with a 641 series, she bowled a 221-217-203. Senior Rachael Ritzinger also bowled a 600 series, she bowled a 205-192-203. Freshman Alyssa Bedilion bowled a 155-200-144 for a 499 series. Sophomore Julie Nolte bowled a 154-203-128 for a 485 series, and Sophomore Mikayla Frye bowled a 178-151-144 to finish with a 473 series. Stow girls held onto first place through 5 of the 6 baker games, lost it to Garfield Garrettsville the last baker game by 16 pins!
