8th Place finish at Districts
Sound familiar.......... Near the top all day, a few bad Baker games and the dream of going to States slipped away. Similar to what happened to the boys team, our girls were very much in the Tournament most of the time. In 4th place with only two more Baker games we couldn't put it away and finished in 8th place only 50 pins from taking the trip.
Our Senior Shauna Jones had the 5th spot for an individual to go until the very last scoring update and was dropped to 6th, missing by 18 pins.
We are so proud of all our girls and our two Seniors will be missed very much.
2/20/10 Stow vs Sectionals Twin Star Lanes (N/A, 3626-n/a)
Girls finish in second to advance to Districts!
The top three teams advance to districts, Stow girls finish in second place (3626) behind JA Garfield (3864), Hudson (3476) in third. Fifteen regular games were bowled followed by 6 baker games. Cortney Eiloo led with high series she bowled a 185-182-194 (561). Laura Trevorrow followed with a 163-172-168 (503). Shauna Jones bowled a 151-192-157 for a (500) series. Lauren Gilbert had a nice (498) series 190-132-176. Alyssa Polly bowled a 138 and a 146. Rachael Ritzinger came in the third game and bowled a very nice 200 game. Baker games were 185-179-190-153-203-170.

Girls Came Thru With A Big Win
This was a match everyone was looking forward to clear things up, however, we now have to wait to see how everyone finishes.
High game and series by SR Alyssa Polly 224, 177=401, followed by SR Shauna Jones 194, 198=392 and SO Laura Trevorrow 188, 202=390, JR Lauren Gilbert 170, 170=340
It was hard saying goodbye to two Seniors on Senior Night who will be missed very much

2/5/10 Stow vs NOC Girls Invitational Roseland Lanes (N/A, 3552-n/a)
Stow girls fiinish in 2nd place behind Cuyahoga Falls.
The girls held onto second place the whole tournament. Cortney Eiloo led the way with a 596 series, she bowled a 194-209-193. Alyssa Polly bowled a 139-193-213 to finish with a 545 series. Lauren Gilbert bowled a 540 series 191-180-169. Laura Trevorrow also had a 515 series with a 160-182-173. Baker games were 177-177-174-146-213.
