5/2/09 Stow vs Optimist Meet - Austintown-Fitch (6TH, 42.2-)
The Lady Bulldogs place 6th out of 34 Teams
This year 11 girls traveled to Austintown Fitch for the Optimist meet. The highlight for the bulldogs was watching senior Abby Koch break her own school record in the 3,200 Meter Run in a time of 10:56.5 on her way to victory. Katie Betts brought home the other 1st place in the 800 Meter Run in a time of 2:15.9. Koch and Betts teamed up with Jessica DuHamel and Katee Wensinger to finish 2nd in the 4x800 Meter Relay in a time of 9:33.84. Also scoring points for the Lady Bulldogs were Krissy Bogucki who finished 6th in the 400 Meter Dash in a time of 62.3, the 4x400 Meter Relay team of Kelly Mook, Megan Johnson, Bogucki and Betts finished 6th in a time of 4:15.59, Marena Toth was 4th in the Long Jump with a leap of 15-9 and the High Jump tandem of Bekah Alexander and Vicki Moga finished 5th and 8th respectively with jumps of 5-0. Well done ladies.
