5/6/08 The Lady Bulldogs win at Senior Night over Nordonia
The ladies gave the seniors a win for there last high school duet meet of the year. Stow had 1st place finishes in the 800 Betts 2:24, 1,600 Koch 5:12.90, 3,200 Koch 11:11.40, 300 hurdles Johnson 49.50, Long jump Toth 15-9, High jump Alexander 5-2, 1,600 relay (Oneacre, Bonacci, Betts, Johnson) 4:10, 3,200 relay (Oneacre, Barsody, Walker, Betts) 10:15 and in the Pole vault Page 9-0.
5/3/08 Bulldogs take 7th place
This weekend in Austintown the girls placed 7th. In the High Jump Alexander tied for 2nd with a jump of 5'2", Page was 2nd in the Pole Vault at 8'6", in the 800 Betts was 1st with a time of 2:21.8 and Koch was 4th with a time of 2:27.37 and in the 3,200 Koch took 2nd place with a time of 11:11.16.

4/30/08 The Lady Bulldogs out muscle Mayfield
The girls this week went up against Mayfield and were able to pull out a victory. We had 1st place finishes in Shot put: Nolte 29-7, Discus: Nolte 103-9, High jump: Alexander 5-2, Long jump: Toth 14-9, Pole vault: Page 9-0 which is a new school record, 4x800: (Betts, Johnson, Duhamer, Koch) 9:54.00, 4x200: (Tondi, Bonacci, Toth, Johnson) 1:55.00, 4x100: (Archibald, Winters, Samson, Tondi) 53.7, 400: Bonacci 1:03.0, 800: Betts 2:23.00 and in the 200: Toth 27.9.
4/30/08 ATTENTION!! MEET DATE CHANGED!!!
Due to a conflict involving Nordonia's prom, the dual meet originally scheduled for Wednesday, May 7 has been changed to Tuesday, May 6. It will still be held at Stow-Munroe Falls Stadium. It will still take place at 4:30pm.

4/26/08 Bulldogs Win the Reinhart Relays
Not only did the girls win the Reinhart Relays but the boys did also. Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs were in the 3,200 Meter Run 1st place Abby Koch with a new meet record of 11:25.7 and 5th place Erin Schnellinger 13:03.8, 4x100 Meter Relay (Lynsey Archibald, Monica Winters, Megan Samson, Bre Tondi) for 2nd place 52.7, 4x200 Meter Relay (Bre Tondi, Colleen Bonacci, Megan Johnson, Marena Toth) for 2nd place 1:50.4, 4x400 Meter Relay (Colleen Bonacci, Renee Oneacre, Katie Betts, Megan Johnson) for 1st place and a new meet record of 4:09.7, 4x800 Meter Relay (Renee Oneacre, Tess Barsody, Lyndsey Walker, Lindsay Amerman) for 3rd place 10:39.2, 4x1,600 Meter Relay (Katie Betts, Tess Wilson, Jessica DuHamel, Abby Koch) for 1st place and a new meet record of 22:24.5, 800 Sprint Medley (Monica Winters, Laura Page, Marena Toth, Megan Johnson) for 3rd place in 1:57.3, Distance Medley (Katie Betts, Adrianna Tondi, Jessie Hall, Jessica DuHamel) for 1st place and a new meet record of 13:18.5, 4x100 Meter Shuttle Hurdle (Rachel Harris, Haley Guenther, Hayley Bair, Brittney Luli) for 3rd place in 1:12.6, High Jump Relay tied for 1st place was Bekah Alexander at 5'1" and tied for 5th place were Colleen Bonacci and Vicki Moga at 4'10", Pole Vault Relay 4th place to Laura Page at 8'6", tied for 5th was Jill Francis at 8' and in 12th place was Caila Chambers at 6'6", Long Jump Relay in 3rd place was Marena Toth at 15'11.25", in 5th place was Laura Page at 14'5.75" and in 13th place was Nicole Scheidler at 13'9.25", Shot Put Relay 12th place was Lauren McLain at 28'.75", 15th place was Vicki Nolte at 27'2.5" and in 20th place was Christen Bradford at 25'4", Discus Throw Relay in 7th place was Christen Bradford at 89', in 11th place was Vicki Nolte at 85'9" and in 18th place was Claire Lucas at 72'3". Great job again ladies.
4/23/08 The Lady Bulldogs have a tough loss to Twinsburg
The Lady Bulldogs suffered a tough loss to a strong Twinsburg team. The Bulldogs were able to grab first places finishes in the 800 Meter Run by Katie Betts 2:22, 1,600 Meter Run by Abby Koch 5:12.2 which is also a new school record, 3,200 Meter Run by Tessa Wilson 12:58, Long jump by Marena Toth 16-1.5and in the High jump by Bekah Alexander 5-2. The ladies will regroup for this weekend's Reinhart Relay at home.
4/19/08 The Lady Bulldogs take 1st Place
The Lady Bulldogs took 1st place at the Valkyrie Invitational of Waterloo in Ravenna today. The Bulldogs scored 118.5 points while runner up Minerva took 2nd place with 106 points, Chagrin Falls was 3rd with 100 points, Waterloo was 4th with 83 points and Ravenna was fifth with 59.5 points. The Bulldogs set meet records were set in the 3,200 Meter Run and also the 4 x 400 Relay. We had 1st place finishes in the 300 Meter Hurdles by Johnson with a time of 48.3, Koch in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:25 and also int eh 3,200 Meter Run with a time of 11:24.78 and the 4x400 Meter Relay with a time of 4:13.6. We had 2nd place finishes in the High Jump by Alexander at a height of 5'2", 4x800 Meter Relay 10:10.8, 4x200 Meter Relay 1:51.2, 1,600 Meter Run by DuHamel 5:38.1 and in the 800 Meter Run by Betts with a time of 2:25.2. 3rd place finishes by Toth in the Long Jump with a jump of 15'11", the 4x100 Relay 53.5 and in the 400 Meter Dash by Bonacca with a time of 62.42. Also scoring for the Lady Bulldogs were in the Shot Put Nolte with a throw of 30' 6 3/4" and also in the Discus witha throw of 90'2", Moga in the High Jump at 4'10", 100Meter Hurdles by Harris 18.1, 100 Meter Dash by Winters 13.79, 1,600 Meter Run by Schnellinger 6:05.5, 400 Meter Dash by Oneacre 63.8 and in the 200 Meter Dash by Toth 27.8. Congratulations ladies. Great job.
4/16/08 Lady Bulldogs defeat rival Cuyahoga Falls
Wednesday the lady Bulldogs defeated their local rivals the Cuyahoga Falls Tigers. We had first place finishes for Stow in the 4x800 10:25.2, 4x200 1:52.1 (Bre Tondi, Megan Johnson, Colleen Bonacci, Marena Toth), 4x100 53.8 (Lynsey Archibald, Adrianna Tondi, Monica Winters, Bre Tondi) and the 4x400 4:15.7 (Colleen Bonacci, Katie Betts, Renee Oneacre, Megan Johnson). 100 M 1st for Winters 14.0 and 3rd for Archibald 14.2, 400 M 2nd for Bonacci 64.7, 3rd for Oneacre 64.8, 300 M Hurdles 1st for Johnson 50.2, 2nd for Bair 54.2 and 3rd for Harris 55.0, 100 M Hurdles 1st for Harris 18.6 and 3rd for Guenther 19.7, 1,600 M 1st for DuHamel 5:40.6 and 3rd for Schnellinger 6:09.4, Shotput 3rd for Nolte 30'0", 800 M 1st for 2:24.3 and 3rd for Betts 2:30.4, High Jump 1st for Alexander 5'2', 2nd for Moga 4'8", Pole Vault 2nd for Page 7'6" and 3rd for Francis 7'0", Discus 3rd for Lucas 82'4", Long Jump 1st for Toth 15'4" and 3rd for Page 14'7", 200 M 1st for Toth 27.8 and 3rd for Tondi 28.6 and 3,200 M 2nd for Feskanin 13:17.5 and 3rd for Tomko 13:42.1.
4/12/08 The Lady Bulldogs finish 5th
The Lady Bulldogs this weekend finished in 5th place in a field of 14 teams with a score of 37 points. Scoring for the Bulldogs were in the Long Jump Marena Toth at 15-1 for 5th place and Laura Page at 14-4.15 for 7th place, the 3200 Meter Relay (Renee Oneacre, Katie Betts, Tess Barsody, Abby Koch) for 2nd place with a time of 10:25.6, 400 Relay (Laura Page, Monica Winters, Adrianna Tondi, Bre Tondi) for 7th place with a time of :54.7, 800 Meter Run Claire Wieczorek for 7th place with a time of 2:35.7 and Jessica Duhame for 8th place with a time of 2:35.7, 3,200 Meter Run Abby Koch for 2nd place with a time of 11:50.7 and the 1,600 Meter Relay (Renee Oneacre, Tess Barsody, Katie Betts, Marena Toth) for 5th place with a time of 4:32.7.
4/9/08 Stow wins their first dual meet of the year
The Lady Bulldogs win there first dual meet of the year by beating Brush 81-56. There were first place finished by Laura Page in the Long Jump at 15-3.5 and also in the Pole Vault with a height of 8-6, the 4x800 relay team with a time of 10:36, Rachel Harris in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 18.4, the 4x200 relay team with a time of 1:54, Abby Koch in the 1,600 Meter Run with a time of 5:34 and also in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:30.4 and Tessa Wilson in the 3,200 Meter Run with a time of 12:52. Congratulation ladies.
4/5/08 The Lady Bulldogs place 2nd at the first invitational of the year
The Lady Bulldogs had a good outing at the first invitational of the year. The ladies took home second place with 123 points. Waterloo was in first place with 136.50 points, Crestwood placed 3rd with 68 points. We had first place finished by Bekah Alexander in the Girls High Jump at a height of 5'2" setting a new invitational record, the 4x800 Meter Relay also setting a new invitational record at 10:21.2, Abby Koch in the 1600 Meter Run, Katie Betts in the 800 Meter Run, Abby Koch in the 3200 Meter Run and the 4x400 Meter Relay. We had second place finishes by Marena Toth in the Long Jump, 4x200 Meter Relay and Megan Johnson in the 400 Meter Dash. Also scoring points for the Lady Bulldogs were Vicki Nolte in the Shot Put and Discus Throw, Laura Page and Sarah Schneider in the Long Jump, Vicki Moga in the High Jump, Rachel Harris in the 100 Meter Hurdles, Jaime Tomko, Jessica Zivny and Suzette Rovelsky in the 1600 Meter Run jv mile, the 4x100 Meter Relay team, Hayley Bair in the 300 Meter Hurdles, Jessica DuHamel and Tess Barsody in the 800 Meter Run andTessa Wilson in the 3200 Meter Run. Congratulations girls.

4/2/08 There will be a Team Night at the high school at 6pm on Thursday April 3rd in the Lecture Hall. We will be watching the movie Miracle. Pizza will be provided. All track members please attend!
